Housecall Pro pricing

The sticker is the down payment.

Housecall Pro has three plans: Basic at $79 a month for one user, Essentials at $189 for five, and Max at $329 for eight, billed monthly ($59, $149 and $299 billed annually). Extra users on Max are $35 a month each. Then come the add-ons, and Housecall Pro publishes no prices for any of them: AI answering, Pipeline, Voice, Campaigns and GPS are all quoted by sales. Essentials5$189$149Routes, flat-rate pricing, checklists, employee GPS, QuickBooks Online sync
Max8$329$299Sales proposals, recurring service plans, route optimization, open API, $35 per extra user

The add-ons

Listed, not priced.

The pricing page lists CSR AI (its AI answering), the Sales Proposal tool, Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting, Voice, Campaigns, vehicle GPS and dashcams, and websites as add-ons, and gives a price for none of them. You get the number on a sales call.

Third-party write-ups put Pipeline, Voice and Campaigns together at roughly $150 to $250 a month, and GPS at about $20 per vehicle. Treat those as estimates, not list prices. The pattern from reviews: the demo shows the platform, the invoice shows the platform plus a few line items.

Housecall Pro columns are plan prices only. AI answering is not included on any plan, so a shop that wants calls answered adds a quoted CSR AI price on top. The Linq column includes the 24/7 AI receptionist.

Payments and financing

The fintech is the real differentiator.

Card processing is advertised "as low as 2.59%", with a 1% fee on bank payments. Consumer financing runs through Wisetack, for jobs from $500 to $65,000 over up to 120 months (per the financing page). For a US shop that sells big tickets, that is real value; price it in.

Housecall Pro in Canada

Check the brochure at the border.

Payroll is for US-based businesses only, per HCP's payroll page. We could not find a statement that Wisetack financing, bank payments or expense cards work for Canadian shops, so ask before you count on them. Card payments work. Prices are in USD for Canadian accounts too.

Is Housecall Pro worth it

For the right shop, yes.

For a US shop that will use the financing and the marketing stack: a real contender, priced accordingly. For a small crew that wants the whole loop without quoted line items, the flat-price structure is the other answer: one bill, flat monthly, no per-user fees inside your seat count, AI answering on Growth and up. Head-to-head: Linq vs Housecall Pro. The two incumbents: Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
